Can anyone help me? I tried to add the hidden menu , in the control head 07, with vagcom, i have message that the module is not accessible... I have mmi 2g in my s5 cab 2010
S5 2010 have no 07 control head, it's for MMI2G till 09/2008. If You have MMI 3G it's in address 5F, or for Symphony it's in 56.

Everytime you start a car again, the scroll-button on the steering wheel lets you scroll through ALL available radio stations (listed by frequency). You have to look at the dashboard, scroll all the way up, to "Memory list", click on that, and only then you will be scrolling through your favorites, i.e. preset channels. Well, this is really annoying as it distracts you attention for quite some time (if you stop scrolling up, the selector is back to current line in 1 sec.) - to the extent that this scroll-button became unusable for me. I only use it for phone options.

Is there a way to tell MMI that I want to always start in the preset radio channels list???
I.e. Default list = Memory list.

No, there isn't.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the volume of radio/CD to lower when you put car in reverse? Is this available to unlock on a 58 plate coupe?

I'm sure that you do this through the cars menu.

Really? Do you know how? I've been through it and couldn't find anything.

Im sure someone somewhere said theres a counter available via the VAGcom that tells you how many times the launch control has been used, any ideas??

Hidden menu

Hi, I am a new member, just purchased my first A5 3.0tdi quattro cab my2010, would be most grateful if you could enable the SDS in the hidden menu. Will be happy to pay for your time. Regards Gabrial.

Go on then, give us a clue where you are?

Oh and welcome!

yes, there is, but don't ask me where :)
I'm sure, I've seen it on this fine forum.
it is also possible to read out, how much time you've spent in Comfort or in Dynamic mode.

Thanks, seems this is it?

"[Select]
[02 - Transmission]
[Adaptation - 10]
Channel 00
[Read]
[Save]
[Done, Go Back]

Also see if that resets group 30 in measuring blocks..."

Re Paulqcab, sorry for the confusion, I am trying to contact S5Mafia regarding activation of SDS. Being the wrong generation ie over 50, I am not used to the world of social media. P.S I am based in Liverpool.

Question about disabling the "Lights are on" warning... on my '09 S5, I went to the location where the instructions said, and there's no button to tick to disable this warning. I tried manually entering the third bit as a 0, pressed the down arrow to move to the next byte, hit escape to pass the long coding back to VCDS, and hit the Do It! button, and it said it saved, but that warning persists. Here's what I see in [09 – Cent. Elect.] [Coding - 07] -> Long Coding Helper -> Byte 5

I would say both :talk2hand:

you have to select Advanced Measurement Values,
than you take the drop down menu and goto item nr. 32.
