It can be retrofitted, Hazzy Dayz offer it (supply and fit), it's expensive though.

I would recommend Hazzy Dayz they did an excellent job on retro fitting Bluetooth on my car. However I think I would struggle to justify spending over a grand just so that I did not have to get my key out of my pocket!

 

I am interested in doing this but like you say the grand is putting me off for something as simple as putting my key in the slot.

 

I prefer to have my key in the slot. I'm really bad for losing things!

 

That price is only for keyless start, if you want the whole lot (Keyless start and entry) it's £1,895.00 + VAT for a coupe :yikes:

If you can source the parts yourself and don't mind fitting them it can be done for a hell of a lot cheaper. There is a thread somewhere on this forum that lists the parts needed.

HazzyDays Push Button Start

Hi,

Had my A5 Sportback installed with push button start/stop by Hazzydays together with some other modifications. Excellent service even if there was some minor issues with the others mods (which they resolved without quibble).

I supplied the button & facia which helped with the cost.

Would and have dealt with them again :thumbsup:

NEW 2014 version Start stop button is easy mod, 15min of work. Those buttons fit on all A4, S4, RS4, A5, S5, SR5 and Q5 also. I have some of them in stock :thumbsup:

Red ring is not illuminated, but still looks really nice.
