Hi all,

I have MHS2_ER AU_P2035 and I wanted to update mmi with a new maps 2022/2023.
I donwloaded Congo activator 2.5 and maps from the first post.
I left my original SD card (with old maps) in slot 2 while I inserted SD card with activator in slot 1.
System rebooted after a message that activator is "competed successfully".
After that I removed both SD cards and inserted SD card with maps 2022/2023 but even after a few minutes the maps are not loaded.

Just to mention I just copied 4 folders (database, eggnog, speech, truffles) and 2 files (DBinfo.txt and WMPInfo.xml) to SD card after I extracted .7z from Mega. Any ideas what might be the issue? Anyone else have issues with 2022/2023 maps?

1. have you checked that the FEC 023000EE for Audi maps are active?
2. that the sd card (no micro card with adapter) has FAT32?
3. if the old/original sd card with maps are still working, its an issue of sd card or maps

Should I use some other maps or is there a way to activate 023000EE?

2. For maps I have used FAT32 one piece SD card.

023000f0 is also ok as "lifetime" maps, 023100f0 are Audi NAR Maps "lifetime" maps, 023d00f0 are Audi RoW Maps

are the old maps working? maybe the download you done was corrupted, no mac pc using for it!

The old SD card (original Audi one) is still working. I will use another card to copy 2022/2023 maps to exclude bad/corupted card.

Besides navigation is the activator enabling any other useful options which require a subscription? I see Audi Connect is showing all services as expired.

Hi, noob here, I have an Audi A4 B9 with mhs2_er_au_p1242 mu0213, I've read through all the 21 pages but I haven't understood a thing: for the maps do I need the activator? Or can I simply put the maps on a sd card and insert it in the infotainment?

So physically what do I need to do?

1) Download the mhs2_er_au_p2035
2) Install via sd card (?)
3) Download activator
4) Install via sd card (?)
5) Download and write maps on sd card

Is this correct?

first read this #370 · , maybe you like GE too then remain on P1242 and only using congo activator v.2.5 thats all
if you update to 2035 are GE not longer possible!!!

YES, your way are correct,
I would start with point 3)

you must decompress them and not place them in a folder.

Thank you! One last (I hope) question, does the car need to be idling during the process? Can I drive it while I wait? Or does the engine need to be switched off?

you must not do anything that could interrupt the update-process.
the ignition must be on, at least.
you can have the car running idle, to charge the battery.
you can also connect a battery-charger.
I do not recommend to drive around, you never know what happens.

1. like explain unzip/decompress the maps to the sd card (its on root) looks then like this

2. the congo activator process takes about 5 min! so its fast
3. new maps on sd card into car takes for working also some minutes to load it
...
4. if any new fw update can take longer so running car or battery charger recommented (up to 40min)
I personal have no problems with running engine on my Audi, recomendation are with out running engine and charger and some dealers using hazard lights on
to avoid that the unit/can bus goes into sleep mode

let us know if you done it and result
