I have an entire egr in my garage, and I remember an orange plug on it somewhere I'm sure... I'll have a look for you.

Yes it was a brand new EGR, I got a few hundred miles out of it then the EGR cooler packed in. You can only buy the cooler with the valve attached, so I got a new one and fitted that, leaving me with a nearly new spare valve in the shed.

The 059 906 088P is most likely the part number.

Interesting, never seen that part before. What are the obvious symptoms of a faulty one?

ST_coupe,

Did you have to bleed your heater matrix coolant. Since I refilled after checking the main stat, I get the 'flushing' noise behind the dash. I've tried looking for a bleed screw for the heater, but couldn't see one, do you know where it is?

BTW you'll want N, not K. K is discontinued.
