In my 2009 3.0tdi I have the satnav which I believe has something in the cd slot that stops CDs being able to insert. Not sure if that's right or not but I want to start playing them. How do I go about it and will it stop me being able to use the sat nav? Sorry if it's a stupid question but it's annoying me and want to get it sorted

Depends which version of nav you have - if you have the nav disc in the slot, then that's the mid-nav version and yes the nav won't function without the disc in place. It's not really intended for playing audio files regularly.

I believe you can move the nav maps to an SD card to free up the slot/speed up nav routing, assuming that's the version you have
