Hi everyone,
I drive an Audi A5 2011 2.0 TFSI (211 hp, quattro, S-Tronic). Recently I noticed a strange buzzing sound that appears only under strong acceleration at around 4000 RPM and above.
Has anyone experienced this before on the B8 A5? Could it be a sign that the in-tank fuel pump is going bad, or should I be checking something else?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

- The sound is coming from the rear, almost like underneath the back seat.
- When I release the throttle or the revs drop, the sound immediately disappears.
- At normal highway cruising speeds (e.g. 130 km/h), there is no noise at all.
