In 1,2,3 and occasionally 4, when accelerating from low revs, I occasionally get a squeel which sounds very much kind the aux belt slipping.
I had this checked out, but 2 garages have said that the aux belt is fine with good tension.
Audi went one step further and visually checked my transfer plate by removing the inspection plate. Here, the mechanic on video says that there's a bit of movement which shouldn't be there.
I don't know what he issue is, and it only seems to occur when it's really cold outside. There's no noticeable impact on rate of acceleration, that I've noticed anyway.
Because of this issue and possible transmission plate issue, I've cancelled the planned work of dpf gut, tuneup and S1 on the gearbox in concern of making a driveline issue much worse thru the extra torque demands.
The car is now 142k miles old and my daily, doing approx 300mi a week.
Happy to hear from anyone who's got any ideas or experience of similar.
