Bought some RP Motorworks resonator deletes from the down pipes. My RS5 has the optional Sports exhaust, but it is a little sedate in sound. You do get some pops and burbles, so wanted to just turn the volume up a bit.

Fitment is straight forward and a nice fit too! The only trouble I had was getting the original rearward sleeve clamps undone, but a bit of persuasion (grinder) and they were off, replaced with new bolts.

I have only driven 5 miles with them on, but they are just what I wanted! Maybe dare I say I want them a little louder! They give a more pronounced parp on gear changes, louder pops when revving and a louder over-run burble.

Went for a 'spirited' proper drive last night!

The exhaust sounds good through the Manchester airport tunnels!! :D :D

Love the over-run sound now! much more pronounced, especially through a high street. Before it more more like a small child knocking in the boot, now you can actually hear it properly.

You can gear down and it will burble/pop, then a little dab of the throttle and it gives a parp, then off the throttle for some more burbles and pops - sorry I am like a school boy! :D

Ended up driving a through a car meet in Wilmslow! But as they normally go, some get a bit too excited and set fireworks off, so on my return drive through, the Police were there.

Basically all it is is removing the 2 front silencers/resonators.

With the RP motorsports, just cut forward of the silencers and remove at the oem clamps. Best thing you can go back to oem although with an extra pair of band clamps or an extra join.
