rear view mirror fell off..

So my rear view mirror fell off but only the mirror part the other part is still on the windshield. I been attempting to put the mirror back onto the black piece on the windshield for about 15mins and almost threw the mirror... Anyone got any tricks cuz this is pretty much impossible for me. there seems to be a circle on the piece attached to the windshield and 3 "claws" on the mirror. So I'm trying to get the 3 claws in but it just won't have it..

any advice would help a lot.

someone said it snaps back on but it's def not that easy..

I cannot imagine how can the mirror fall without anyone "giving it a hand"...it is just impossible.

You have to attach the mirror to that circle that you see, at about 45 degrees angle, then turn it clockwise until it snaps into place.

That happened to me too. It was funny it happened after I let my wife drive my car :wall:

I took it to the dealer and he snaped it back on, no charge.
