Hi IMarek,
i hope you know what you are doing :) (as i'm far away from you and cannot help you with tools)

In short - yes, some but not all of the adaptation channels can be modified by manipulating DataPST.db. For channel 69 here are the values:

Code:
$SDPath/utils/sqlite3 /mnt/efs-persist/DataPST.db "INSERT OR REPLACE INTO tb_intvalues (pst_is,pst_namespace,pst_key,pst_value) VALUES (null,4,40960,32768)"
$SDPath/utils/sqlite3 /HBpersistence/DataPST.db "INSERT OR REPLACE INTO tb_intvalues (pst_is,pst_namespace,pst_key,pst_value) VALUES (null,4,40960,32768)"
$SDPath/utils/sqlite3 /mnt/hmisql/DataPST.db "INSERT OR REPLACE INTO tb_intvalues (pst_is,pst_namespace,pst_key,pst_value) VALUES (null,4,40960,32768)"
Cheers.
Hi Congo,
back from holiday, back to Enable Online Data Trafic.

I have change the data from your Enable Green Menu Script according to your code.
I've skipped unchanged lines, leaving only comments to keep it short for you, showing only the modified lines in full:
There will be all sections in final script.
Code:
...
# Full path
# Mount in read/write mode
# Show start screen
# Mount efs-persist as we need to copy the database
# Backup the database

# Remove old values
$SDPath/utils/sqlite3 /mnt/efs-persist/DataPST.db " delete from tb_intvalues where pst_key=[B]40960 and pst_namespace=4[/B]"
$SDPath/utils/sqlite3 /HBpersistence/DataPST.db " delete from tb_intvalues where pst_key=[B]40960 and pst_namespace=4[/B]"
$SDPath/utils/sqlite3 /mnt/hmisql/DataPST.db " delete from tb_intvalues where pst_key=[B]40960 and pst_namespace=4[/B]"

# Backup the database one more time

# Insert the new values - enable Online Data Trafic
$SDPath/utils/sqlite3 /mnt/efs-persist/DataPST.db "insert into tb_intvalues (pst_namespace, pst_key, pst_value) values (4[B],40960,32768[/B])"
$SDPath/utils/sqlite3 /HBpersistence/DataPST.db "insert into tb_intvalues (pst_namespace, pst_key, pst_value) values (4,[B]40960,32768[/B])"
$SDPath/utils/sqlite3 /mnt/hmisql/DataPST.db "insert into tb_intvalues (pst_namespace, pst_key, pst_value) values (4,[B]40960,32768[/B])"

# Copy the database to verify
# Show end screen
# and all the rest
1. Can you please verify the code?
2. Should I change endline marks CR+LF to LF only (Linux style) in the final script version?

Thank you in advance,
Regards,

First of all a really big Thank You for your engagement on this theme, very useful and money saver!:thumbsup:
Second: A same big Sorry for my english, I hope it's readable... feel free to correct me, I'm here to learn :)

I did it today! Some details of the car:
A5 MY '12 with MMI plus and without SIM.

I started with an emergency update since some years ago I installed the maps with a patch (maybe carson's one, don't remember). Installed the same firmware version as before. Then I ran the normal update and re-installed again the same firmware version (maybe could I skip this step?) Then updated to K900 and after that in the order:
Navi partition via Green Menu deleted, Maps update, activator, emergency update restore script, fixed the fault code "Please Check Software Version Management". The other one you mentioned in the tutorial wasn't here. Instead of it was this fault here:
Code:

If I delete it, the small fan of the A/C Unit start run fast for maybe one minute, then stop. (i mean the small integrated in the unit, not the one that blows air inside from outside) It seems the only issue.

Is someone already confronted with this problem? Some idea how to fix it? And why something different's happened to my car?

Thanks another time!

EDIT: Congo do you want the SD Content after your EmergencyUpdate fix script ran?

Quick question:

1. How long does the system takes to delete the database?
2. How long does the system takes to Delete Nav HDD Partition?
3. Could anyone shows me a screenshot that tells the user that the deletion is complete and ready to reboot?

I didnt get any prompt on the green menu that deletion is complete. I just reboot after 30 seconds. I did not managed to get the map loaded. The map version shows nothing. In the NAV, it just keeps showing Initialising Navigation for hours.

Hi.

I thought I could share some experiences with my install:

Start:
Car: A6 (C7) 2012 with 3G Plus, SIM card, DAB, and Bose.
MMI FW / MAP version installed: HN+R_EU_AU_P0532 / 8R0060884AH ECE 5.13.8

Plan:
1. Install and Open Green menu. Change to User defined mode.
2. Update FW using User defined mode and remove Bose updates. (8R0 906 961 EA – HN+R_EU_AU_K0900 (Q3/A6/A7/A8) SVM: 3GPEU900)
3. Open green menu and delete NAV HDD partition.
4. Open engineering menu and update MAP (8R0 051 884 DF – 6.22.4 2016 MMI 3G High/Plus Europe 2016)
5. Activate the Map with 2380_0040009.fsc and copie_scr.sh

Install:
1. I used the green menu script to activate the green menu.
Learnings:
- After installing the green menu script, you need to reboot MMI before it works (CAR+MENU).
- If you enable User defined mode, you need to install the FW right after. If you turn MMI off/on or reboot, the User defined mode setting is disabled.
- After installing FW or MAP, the green menu is not working. The script needs to be rerun to enable the green menu again.

2. Installing of the FW was tricky because I got a lot of hassle with the Gemmi device (Google Earth). (Error 141)
Learnings:
- The problem there was the SD card. Tried 4 times with new copy, and full reformat of SD card, etc. One seemed to work, but didn't.
- Changed to a higher quality SD card and reinstalled Gemmi, and it worked:) (Thanks to Congo for advice).

3. Delete NAV HDD partition went fine after reactivation of green menu.
4. Install of MAPS went fine and much faster than the manual says(fast SD card).
5. Activation also went fine.

Manual update recommendations:
- Include green menu script instructions in the user manual.
- Move pictures from page 6 to page 8/9. (confusing for a first timer)
- Include that you don't need to install several FW's, try with the latest first.
- Bit unclear in the manual if the activation card needs to remain in the SD slot to have a functional MAP. Could include "Remove the SD card" at the end on page 28.
- State that info from page 29 is Appendix stuff (Nice to do/know).

Another great setting I enabled after the update:
- Green menu->Diagnose->Settings->tel_settings->"NAD operation mode" ticked ON
- This enables you to choose between Internal SIM card and handsfree phone calls.
- Telephone->settings->Make calls using-> Sim card/mobile phone.
- My setting is now mobile phone for calls, and the internal SIM card handles Data traffic(Google earth, Audi connect, etc.).

Also tried to enable the battery screen/info (Battery Cardevice on + Battery carmenuoperation set to 5), but no luck there.

Rst.

hello I have sent a mp

Congo, excuse me, in my firmware update appeared an error, but the continuous updating and screen did not show up any other fault.

For 03623 use this script https://mega.nz/#!U4Q3yRBb!h2MiRrO0uptjNGN9h1FWqwhJaObsW8VsCa2vKa-jgQI

1 & 2. No more than 5 min
3. Well ... i dont have screenshot but after 5 min it's safe to reboot ... you have to confirm deletion .. read the messages ... hit return and then delete again

@homarc
Please explain ... i didn't get it. Is you MMI working now or not ?
If it's working then leave it as it is.

Hello Congo, if it works perfectly when I frame intale firmware failure, but continued to the end. Coincidentally browser on Sunday stood at one point, but select map in google and continued working. Sorry for my English. Thank you

Yes ...
I know why but i need to know which is the MAP that you want to use.
We will fix the "Initialising Navigation, Please wait..." but probably the version displayed will be wrong.
It appears that we all got the RoW map from the same place and it's either due to the map not 100% genuine or it's vendor bug ...

When installing the RoW map it does not create some files in the navi so hence the problems :)

Activation Failed ....

Hi,

I'm french and audi fan. I'm on antoher forum like gpsunderground, audiforum, etc, and noboby is able to solve my issue.

I'm :crying:

So perhaps you could help me.

I've installed the FW900, then the map 6.22.4 as describved in the PDF.
All was fine.

Then i tried to activate and impossible to do it.

Message in the SDCARD is :
"WLAN eeprom token is not valid for this moo 00.1C.D7.27.12.2E.
The activation is already installed. Failed to get mac adress. Was the ignition switch on..."

I tried with the activation also given in the gpsunderground site (with xcode as described in the PDF).

If anybody can help me.

Many Thanks!
