Thanks for your quick reply, I do have 2016 RoW maps, but without activator.

To clarify I have MMI 3G High, which activator should I use? The one in your post or the one in Adrian's Post for RoW map.

Can anyone help with iPod not showing in MMI??

I looked at diagnose/settings in green menu hoping may be when I updated to k0942 it disabled the AMI but no. It's enabled. Anything else I can try to make it work?

Yes it works fine , and keep the original VIN of your car in MMI

You just have to clear expected fault code

Clear 3276 and 3623 fault code

I have now performed the update of the maps 6.24.2 2017, and activated with the Vlasoff files. The map comes up, but google earth is greyed out and i can'tt get it to navigate.

Any ideas?

Reinstall manually gemmi files.

Yes just reinstall K0942 FW , it will reinstall GEMMI , no need to chose manually the files

??? It works fine for me , no need to reactivate if you have 3G connection and original VIN of the car in the MMI

Hi there again,

The maps are activated and the firmware is working fine. I checked the VIN number and it's there too.

The problem is when I try to use traffic view, or enable the settings, it says that the activation licence has expired. I have done all that you guys have suggested so far.

Am I missing sometning, or is there a procedure to re-activate the licence?

Hi there Congo. Would you be able to help me with this issue. I have successfully performed the updates to the firmware and maps (both latest) on a HN+ system, but the traffic licence seems to be expired. Do you have any methods for activation of the licence?

33 pages takes some working through, especially if much of it is old and possibly out of date. Nobody wants to spend hours reading every post unless they really have nothing better to do!
I need to update the maps in my A5 Quattro cab and much of the above is an issue for me.
I've been solely using Macs (and supporting them) for 30 years and never owned or used a Windows machine so even something as basic as copying data to an SD card in a format that the A5 will accept is a problem for me: EVERYONE I know, without exception, uses Macs! So I'm probably going to have to find someone north of London to help me out with this... as well as activating voice control.
