zebbydogIt is possible since maps 3g hdd and 3g + are the same, but include in sd different folders (only 3g and not 3g +), anyway there is no activator for maps 6.24.2 (FCS) for hdd so it would not be possible to update Still have patience

Yes you can. Copy all folders to sd card 32gb except folders LIT 3GP, LIT 2 3GP and LIT 3 3GP. You have Activator for 3G high posted few days a go in 3g high theme.

I think it is not activator what you refer, in the post of 3g congo exposes a script which has been created, but the responsibility is of one to use it, can you read, in case of error mio where is the activator?

Option1 - emergency menu (script from p.1 will activate it)
Option2 - user defined and manually select all under MU*
Downgrade isn't always flawless though

As I mentioned earlier, I don't have clock or signal strength on the bottom. Also my iPod isn't working. MMI is not detecting it though it's connected and was working previously.

I tried running script from p1 but nothing happened.

try to reapply the update maybe it will help (no harm trying). In my C7, MMI is significantly snappier with 942 comparing to 770 which was there previously

Thank you for the very informative post, you helped a lot get their map updated.

I am planning to update my map but I would like to clarify few things,

1. Do you have any RoW map (2017 or 2016)
2. I will update my RoW map, does this activator work for RoW or it only works for EU.
3. I have 3G high, will the activator work?
4. How do I set the RoW map to my country, I am living in the UAE.
5. Can I use 64GB SD Card as I already have it
6. Can i do the update while the car engine is on ( I dont want to risk battery drain).

I have done factory reset through MMI

Also I tried to reinstall k0942 firmware but it doesn't let me click on start update (greyed out)

I was playing with changing splash screen on MMI and after reboot clock signal strength google earth logo at is back on display. So one problem is sorted. But my iPod is still not being detected by MMI. It was working fine with K0900

6.24.2 2017 - 3GP, 3G+, HN+R - Activation method

Hi there,

Firstly thanks so much for the effort and advice you guys give!

So far, so good, I have a 2013 S7 which had firmware HN+R_EU_AU_P0532.

I have successfully updated the firmware to K0942 as suggested and I have downloaded the 6.24.2 2017 Europe map. It is ready on my SD card but I'm not sure what method to use for activation. I am confused as there seems to be several posts pointing to different activators for different systems.

I think my system is the 3GP, 3G+, HN+R version.

So the question is;
What method do I use to update my map from 5.13.8, and then what activaton method do I use?
