No, read the topic one more time! In this topic or in the one for 3G High I've explained what can and what cannot be deleted in order to fit. Or buy another 32gb card only this time form other vendor.

Hi just upgraded sw, to 900. But I detected a fault, the previous map 5.13.8 does not come out on the screen. All other things work well, phone, radio, multi. It is normal? This firm is just for modern maps? Thank you. now I'm deleting and installing new map.

Hello,

I have an A6 (C7) 2012 with 3G Plus, SIM card, DAB, and Bose.
MMI version installed is:
- HN+R_EU_AU_P0532
- 8R0060884AH ECE 5.13.8

I have read the manual and many of the comments in this thread so my plan is to do this:

1. Install and Open Green menu. Change to User defined mode.
2. Update FW using User defined mode and remove Bose updates. (8R0 906 961 EA – HN+R_EU_AU_K0900 (Q3/A6/A7/A8) SVM: 3GPEU900)
3. Open green menu and delete NAV HDD partition.
4. Open engineering menu and update MAP (8R0 051 884 DF – 6.22.4 2016 MMI 3G High/Plus Europe 2016)
5. Activate the Map with 2380_0040009.fsc and copie_scr.sh

So to my questions:
A - Plan: Does plan look ok?
B - Fw update: Is there any benefits installing all the firmwares, or is the latest K0900 including previous fixes?
C - Language: Is there a way to enable more languages, e.g. Norweigian? I do have Swedish in my car as an option now.
D - MAP: Is there a difference in the MAPS stored on Mega vs. cloud.mail.ru as there are less files on Mega? Or is it just a zipping difference?
E - VCDS: Is there any free versions of VCDS software somewhere and a recommended VAG cable?

I had the same, but the firm've done it three times. I do not remember exactly .. 614 767 and now 900, but qo confirm congo ..

Hi

I have problem during install of FW K0900
Got an error 141 during install of Gemmi.
Retried install, but same error.
Skipped update of Gemmi device, and continued updating the remaining of K0900.

Any ideas to solve this?

Try with another SD or format the one that you used, copy the software and try again. GEMMI will be the only component that will be available fit update.

Tested K0900 Emergency Update script - no joy

Warning - FW update K0900 is removing the "Emergency Update" option from the "Green Menu". There is some info that this can be fixed but i dont have 3GP unit so i cannot personally try the script that i have created for that
So if there is someone willing to try it just let me know.

I tried to go from US to EU by updating 0814 to 0900. I didn't realize the need to update the EEPROM. So, no I have an MMI with no fonts shown ... pretty unsatisfying.

I tried to go back to 0814 (I have it on SD), but alas there is no Emergency Update option on the Green Menu. I tried your script, but it seems not to have restored it.

Unfortunately, I could not read any messages. I just knew it was ready since the screen went black (no fonts!) ... then I pushed the wheel button ... then waited 2-3 minutes ... pushed it again, and reboot. But, no emergency update in Green Menu.

Other ideas? Happy to try new scripts!

K0900 Emergency Restore script does work

Hi Congo,

Please ignore my prior post. The script you wrote to restore the Emergency Update line in Green Screen does work. You saved my bacon ... was able to get 0814 installed back on my US S7. I think I will just forget about trying to get EU maps on it ... I don't want to deal with a hardware update.

If you PM me, I can send back the files that we written to the SD card.

Hi All,
I bought A6 C7 2011 few weeks ago, and I'm not sure which type of MMI I have.
I have HDD, 3D maps, but no Google Maps and no SIM slot, so it seems it is MMI 3G High, but in Setup MMI menu I see version: HN+R_EU_AU_K0770, 8R0060884BT ECE 6.19.3, that means it is 3G+ MMI.
I can't see VIN number in MMI, so it means that someone upgraded maps not correctly. Maybe he installed wrong maps (version from 3G+) on 3G High hardware? It is possible?
How to determine hardware version for 100%?

You don't see the VIN in the menu because of the activator for MAP 6.19.3.
Your unit is MMI 3G Plus / 3GP according to the software loaded.

Can I install K0900 firmware and 6.22.4 maps on this wrong activated, as I mean, firmware?
The correct VIN will be visible after upgrade?

My second question is:
I activated through green menu WLAN card. I can see it in media sources and as WiFi hotspot on smartphone. I can connect to this hotspot. I activated Audi Connect icon in main menu, but of course I can't connect to Google because of lack of SIM slot in my MMI. Is it possible to change mode of WLAN adapter to act as WISP client? I could then turn on personal hotspot on smartphone and connect WLAN adapter as client to it and connect with Google Maps and other online services?
