Hmm OK I will try that. If I am converting from US to EU do I have to install all EU firmwares from K_0517_4 to K_0900 or just go with the latest one?

When I converted 3G High MMI what I did first was install the EU software, after that the characters became invisible so I found that I have to reprogram eeprom. When I programmed the eeprom and booted MMI the characters there were and it wasn't necessary to reinstall the software again.
When I did the same procedure with 3GP it didn't work so either the sequence of European languages in eeprom is wrong or I simply have to reinstall the european software one more time.


EDIT: I think you misunderstood me in my last post. The EU firmware update has already been installed prior to the EEPROM flash. After flashing the EEPROM the characters still aren't there. So I either have to reinstall the update one more time (this wasn't necessary when I was converting the 3G High MMI) or the language sequence (en_GBde_DEfr_FR....tr_TRar_SA and so on) flashed in EEPROM is wrong.
I will try to reinstall K_0517_4 one more time, maybe this will solve my problem.

Strange issue

Hello,
I 've spend a few days (trying) to update my MMI. This is a 3gp in an audi A6 from 2012.
The firmwareupdate went without a lot of probs (at the end I read that I could easely upgrade in one time towards the 900 version). Everything worked, I got google and audi connect now (even added the call using function).
But today the big update began, the cards ... Had a lot of problems finding the right sd card but ended up using a 64gig formated in fat32. The update ran for a few hours and as expected, the card was blocked. I copied the fsc script ran it and the card came up (happy me), only one remark: I ran the script with my contact off, so no wlan connection active (thats what the log says).
First thing I noticed, google wasn't working anymore, so I 've redone the 900 update, google back ok.
Ok time to do a error scan with vcds, 3 errors, the first was the wrong code for the card (solved with the script), the second was the SVM code (3276), solved with the manual and the last the famous 3623 security one. The last I solved using the fsc remove tool.
But my last and biggest problem: the gps doesn't calculate routes anymore! I got my maps, I can scroll to every possible location in 3D, 2D, google, even streetview, but I even can't navigate to a street around the corner ....
Anyone had the same problem.

ps: like an other guy on this thread, I also deleted my old map as it was recomended ....

Hi all

I have just started to try the update of my firmware from P0530 to K0900 and as I have the B&O sound system I have entered the user defined menu so I do not update the bose part. But in the selection menu BoseG3_Q7 is not there, I can see AMPLCPKO then DVD then ARU9440 etc. Is this just because there is not update to the bose system or is it hidden? Just want to make sure before I knacker the sound system up.

Just wondering whether anyone would be able to help me with the above? As I can't see anything regarding BO in the list of item in the upgrade so I dont want to attempt the firmware upgrade and risk bricking my sound system.

That was one of my final options to try (but it was getting late and no babysit ). Went for a ride and that did the trick! Thanks for the great tutorial, only one thing wasn't clear to me, but it figured out itself: when uding the FSC removal tool, I wasn't shure if I had to run the activator again. The answer (maybe usefull to others) is no.

Tav, your A5 2012 is Face lift right ?

2007-2011 A5 B & O's "AMP_LC_P" will be shown during the update. K0900 -> v.0190.
The new 2011(FL)-> "AMPLCPKO" is the name that you will find during the update procedure. K0900 -> v.0030.
"Lear Corporation" is the manufacturer of B & O HW for Audi.

Hey guys, resolved the 03276 error, but now i get 01524 antenna for telephone error in 5f, it says open circuit intermitent. Cleared the error but it apeared again. Any ideas ?

Why ... you have some problems ...
There is K0943 but it's not public yet. I cannot see any differences in the software .... maybe some bug fixes and preparation for the 2016-2017 MAP.
