Massive... need your help
I need to figure out what I have to do to protect my back seats when taking dog out with roof down. The wind blocker will stop him from committing suicide so seat protecting is required.
It's a good mutt but I don't want him on the leather....and want to stop him from walking into the front

best friend

S4 EVV thinking 'bout it......

How do you find out who is your best friend between the wife and the dog......

Lock them both in your boot for half an hour then see who's pleased to see you when you let then out !!!!!!!!

I've got one of these for my S5...and I'm not terribly impressed.

For OEM, it sure doesn't fit like OEM. It constantly needs to be tucked back into the crevices on each side. The adjustable strap that goes over each rear headrest does not hold the correct position and constantly loosens. Also, the little bar that tucks between the seat cushion and the seatback on both left and right side constantly come out. Basically, nothing really fits correctly--at least not in my S5.

Just my 2 cents.

hey duke, petsathome do a short lead which clips to a chest harness and then into the seatbelt clasp. think it is only online though. do not use with a collar as emergency braking = dead dog. stay clear of seat covers from aldi, the edges and buckle stitching frays.
I know it is a slightly more expensive option but we have an estate (stationwagon/avant) for the dogs!!!!!!!!

long wait Duke, too much beer last night, so spent 3 hours on the drive this morning washing cars so my beloved coudnt see how shite I felt.

I am sure that " I am just going to give it a quick polish" is a euphemism for something but the alcohol has killed off the braincells storing that particular information.

I bought a Rhino cover for mine, excellent quality, custom made.
where do you put the dog, when you want to close the boot-lid :yikes:
I know exactly how little the height is in the boot, when the lid is down :wall:

Fred44nl. You in the boot????? Not asking as I bet it's one of those long stories with no mention of what really happened.......

Boots a good option for the dog but don't think he knows the command " mind your head". ..!!!!!

whahaha, I'm not telling everything :)

in order to protect my boot, I have the original reversible load mat with bumper cover.

(was not uncomfortable, provided you have the correct side up Ă nd the rear seats folded)

Logosgil... come on catch up .....I was nearly gonna ask how you knew it was shiney ..doh .. lol

I think we should push Fred44nl to come clean with him being in the boot.... wonder if his wife was testing the best friend theory??

:lightout:

business has taken me over to holland a number of times, a fine race of people, or so they tell me, so hospitable I remember next to nothing of any of my visits. but of what I do remember, spending time in freds boot would have been the most sensible............
