its not so much the cost (probably pay similar for a ford or similar ) its just that I object to paying more for something that comes in a packet with a "label". as my other/better half says , I can go for a quiet pint :cheers: and spend a fair bit more than that....... but your right I can be a tight git .

Believe it or not, the one the technicians use (think its for use on all the cars) costs...£85! Yes £85 for a piece of metal I use to cut out back in my design and technology days at school!
