I guess we all need to learn.Been to Audi today mate,and they say key is bought brand new(by you)and is pre-coded from factory.The next stage is for you to go to Audi,and have key programmed to your car.In other words,when you order a key,it already has most information from your car on it,then you have programmed.It also has different part number,so Audi also say if they try to program your key to my car,there is high likelyhood it won't work,therefore I would waste £69.99 of my money,plus your key would be no good whatsoever.If anybody who knows more than us,could you please add your knowledge.Finally,I would hope you will accept this key back for refund.Many thanks,Paul.

Audi are telling you dirty little lies I believe. Take it to a key specialist, not the main dealer.

 

I tried a key specialist 1st.They told me 1st that the key is pre-coded when bought from Audi.So they said they wouldn't do it.

 

Could you tell me whether this is genuine,or clone?Thank you.

When you scam people you genuinely don’t get a response

 

The Key is as you know perfectly genuine your a liar one minute you stated you went to Audi then now say you went to a key specialist, this key can be programmed but clearly the back st garage you went too don’t know how to.

 

Please stop the abusive messages,and paypal message.No mention of genuine.I'm sure these brilliant forums have better things to do.

 

Audi were not telling me little lies,the key was pre-coded,and you cannot recode.All sorted now.

 

So what did you do in the end Paul? Does it work now?

 

No,It would never work.The key comes pre-coded from Audi when you order it,then key gets programmed to car.This cannot be changed,it will say locked when key specialist tries to program,no good to anyone at all.

The moral to this story is do your research before you buy mate that’s what I would of done or contacted the stealership first.
