Hey Steve how did it go with the A5? Did you end up buying it or no?

And as shocked as I was and (the dealership) i took my deposit back...

long write up in my other post explaining what happened...

Now....im considering finding a different dealer and ordering the car to my spec's.... have to wait about 3 mos...which is aweful...but.... it would be here my summer and give me some time to save some extra $$$ for some mods.....

Went to YBH in edgemont last sat.

did you ever get your H&R springs installed...

where is everyone located...i would like to see some of these cars in person....

I will need my 15K service soon -how is YBH over all? I'm in Lansdowne / Drexel Hill. Unfortunately I got a dealer demo so I don't have the bells and whistles but it's ok - I just want my AMI.

Out of all the dealer I been to. YBH hands down have the best service department. I was gonna buy my car there but they didn't have any in stock at the time. As for springs I'm holding off on them for now, I'm planning on spacer in the upcoming week or so We should def get a mini meet when you get your car.

Hey everyone, new to the forum and just wanted to drop in and talk to some local A5 owners. I just ordered my 09 black A5 Sline from YBH audi on Thursday. There sales staff has been nothing but helpfull and great to me and i cannot wait for my end of june delivery.

Im interested in hearing about others experiences with there cars and hopefully it will pass the time till mine arrives.

Since i've moved to the area from detroit i have only seen one A5 (which is gorgeous) that i catch every so often on my way home from work on 202 into west chester. I also came across a parked metor grey S5 on sansom in center city near monks tavern.

cant wait for my summer arrival and to see these gorgeous machines out in full force this summer..

The Audi Music Interface is the iPod connection in the glove box. Comes with most cars but mine was / is from Feb 2008 so rather early and it doesn't have it. My car isn't in the shop, I was just at YBH asking for a retrofit.

We can def. get a good meet in the Delco area.

The total for the car is $50,650 after tax,tittle and all that jazz.
She's comming equiped with:
-black on black Sline
-Premium pkg
-nav pkg
-B&O stereo...

I decided against the tech pack cause i just felt the added cost wasnt worth it to myself.....im sure i'll miss it but i would have been happier if some of the tech pack was offerd as stand alone options.

The sales rep said it's a 70-80 day wait period and because im in no rush as of right now (im trying to privately sell my car) the order wont be put in till the end of this month...which i think is the last chance to grab an 09 before the model cycle changes.

I deal with Nate Flammini from YBH....Very low pressure helpfully guy that made the Audi buying experience more then worth it...also now is a great time to lock in because of special finance rates for the A5. i got set in at 2.8%....

cant wait for a local meet up, Driving on 202 today i caught a sprint blue pearl Sline comming my way.....made my day.

I basically want...an sline with premium and ipod...thats it.... im going to have to really think about this...

2.8%....thats great...but for how long...not 60 mos.....did you do a 2-3 year deal?

Im comming from a Black 06' Dodge Charger..... I was 20 when i bought it and i was convinced there was nothing cooler then that car lol....... It served it's purpose, but it's deff. not the car i thought i was getting, dodge really needs to re-think the name of that car.

Im hoping YBH can give me the trade in im looking for, it's been a pain trying to sell it myself.

23, moved out here about 8/9 months ago and i couldn't be happier with the area and the people.....i miss my detroit sports though :thumbsup:

p.s. sorry to be the new guy and hi-jackin the thread...i've seen very few of these cars in the area and to be able to own one and hopefully meet up and learn more about these cars from everyone is something im looking forward too.

There is a price increase for the 2010. Decide if you want the LED taillights and new 3G MMI (currently in the Q5's). I can't remember the details but maybe you will get the new MMI which is sweet.

I'd really love both the 3G MMI and the LED Tailights.... My salesperson kept hinting at the possible price increase thus the rush to order and lock in current rates. i know my car will be built towards the 09/10 change but i'd have to be lucky as hell to come equip. with those new features.

Im not concerned with the tails as thats something i can always upgrade myself, but is there any word on what us pre-3G mmi users can do (if anything) to retro fit out systems to be capable as well???

Also someone is gonna really have to clear up this whole VAG COM thing and the adjusting of DRL's n such....im in the dark

ask YBH if they will set up the drl's to stay on when you signal...

they absolutely can do it for you...

if i order that will be part of the deal for me... i will just have them set it up for me at pick up..

I am new to this board but have been reading for a while! I took delivery of my A5 in Feb. from YBH and love it. I commute to center city most days on Route 3, Providence Rd, Blue Rt and then 95....I've seen two other A5's and one S5...love the exclusivity!! Would enjoy a local meet up to learn more.
