My wipers just stopped working on the motorway while it was raining heavily ! Can someone tell what may have caused that to happened. One day later they seem to be working again. Very strange and dangerous.

Very freakish. Routine trip on the motorway. It started to rain whilst I was driving at 65 mph . It started to rain and the wipers just stopped working. I had to come off the motorway and parked and waited for the rain to stop! The following day they started to work.

Mate this is a good one!!! The stupid wipers go on strike just when it starts to rain!!!! How on earth can this happen???
