Hi all,
Slightly confused on this so hoping someone can help.
For no apparent reason, my driver side wing mirror glass now wobbles quite significantly when driving. It is the mirror glass itself, the housing is still stable.
Passenger side is absolutely fine, so I can’t think what’s caused this or how to fix it. Any suggestions?

Mine did that only a few weeks ago, don't let it fall off.
Remove gently and use thin double sided tape, easy as that. Worked a treat for me!.

Oh is it only fixed on using tape essentially? For some reason I thought it might have been mounted somehow. Thanks I'll give that a go!

The heating element makes the tape brittle over time, if you use thin see through tape the heating will still work, don't use the white thicker double sided 👍

The glass has a plastic mounting plate/bracket glued to the back. The glue can become unstuck, causing it to wobble and eventually fall off.

Carefully pull the mirror glass off. If it leaves the plastic mounting on the mirror housing, prise it out, it just unclips, then super glue the plastic mounting back on the mirror glass. :)

Sure did, it was very lose and I found myself driving and holding the glass lol
Falls out that would only end badly.
It's a 10 min fix job, easy!
Super glue, 3M tape whatever works or you have available.
