i have a 2009 a5 and i have fitted this wheel and coded but can’t get the paddles or buttons to work.
Airbag ok no faults.
horn works
Buttons and paddles light up.

didn’t have paddles before.
yes I’ve changed the slip ring as my original one didn’t have enough pins.
ive coded with vagcom but can’t get it to work.

There might be a reason why you didn't have paddles before. Which gearbox do you have?

I fitted cruise control to my A4 about 6 or so years ago and spoke to a guy who knew loads about retro fitting, but can't remember his name. I know Hazydayz do retrofits, you may be able to glean some info out of them?

From the reading I did before changing my wheel, those buttons won't work without modification.

yes ive read up that i might have the wrong buttons on the wheel.
does anyone know what the correct part number is for the slip ring?
