Nevermind, I found it. It's on top of the engine, under the engine cover. (Not where I was looking for it.):p

It is quite annoying that the engine must be warm prior to checking oil level. I would prefer to be able to verify oil level prior to starting the engine after an oil change.:mad:

Suggest you buy a dipstick. Eyes are better than some sensor telling you your oil was low and you have seized your engine by starting the car in order to activate the oil sensor

I'm going to check on this next week. The dipstick tube is there, but it just has a plug in it.

You simply remove the plug and insert your trusty dipstick. Topic has been covered before with part numbers as well but here it is anyway for you; 079 115 611AD (S5 model)
