When do I need to change my DSG Oil ?

By DSG I'm guessing you mean the Multitronic and not the S-Tronic?

Either way, it's advised that the transmission oil is changed at 40k so you're definitely due!!

I had Audi do it last week for ÂŁ169 and it feels much better now so would advise it.

Not necessarily...not a service item, just something that is advised by them at those intervals. I could of quite easily ignored it and just don't the major service.

I see.......Well I'm going to ring up Audi tomorrow and get a confirmation.

Good plan batman! I asked my local indie about him doing it for cheaper, but he didn't have the necessary equipment and suggested ÂŁ169 wasn't a bad price so just did it the same time as my service at Audi.

Now my brake fluid needs changing apparently....never-ending!!!

Ahhh cheers scratch. I think the price and timing is the same for both Multitronic and S tronic. Might be wrong tho!

Yes, I would think so, but no experience of Multitronic other than driving my parent's old 2.0TDi A4 and not really getting on with it. Multichronic indeed!

Haha! I don't mind it at all really. Compared to my GFs automatic Mini it's amazing! Can't compete with the S-Tronic tho...that's so good!

How odd...I have the triptronic (Multitronic, CVT...whatever you call it!) and had my oil changed at 40k by Watford Audi the other week!!

digzz I even got a little postcard from Audi telling me that my gearbox oil needs changing because my car has now done 40k miles...

Guess it's up to you...an extra ÂŁ169 on your pocket but get it done if you think it will help. I did notice a slight improvement. Mainly did it because it was recommended though!
