I found this in another forum while Googling. The guy who put up the post gave excellent comments

http://armorall.com/products/view_product.php?product_id=33&main_group=3&category_index=wheel

I am curious whether this is safe to use or not (i.e. might it harm the rim in the future)..

But my main question is, if I spray it "freely" as it it says on the Y-Spokes, the brakes will be full of this thing. Do you think this could harm my brakes?

Thnks
You would be better to use a gel type product to avoid any overspray on the brakes as you rightly identify. One such product would be Swissvax Autobahn :

expensive, yes, but it seems to do a fantastic job without any of the worries of overspray:2thumbsup:

Thnks - how many times are 50ml good for? And how long does each application last for?

It should be sufficient for approximately 12 applications with every application lasting about 3 months so that makes 3 years in total. You may need a Cleaning fluid to prep the wheels first though. There are lots of detailing websites around that can give more in depth info.
