Hey guys,

I'm about to blow my bank account on some JR 38's 20x10 ET30

Would these fit on the b8.5 S5 without any issues? I am lowered on springs by around 10-15mm.
Any opinions on the ET would be good also. Is the ET too much or shall i go for ET 35?

Thanks

Well, I have 275 30 20 tyres on 20 x 10 ET35 rims on my B8 Coupe lowered on H&R OE Sports springs, and it is perfect and never touches- the arches are filled and they sit flush with the bodyline & don't stick out too far.
However, originally I had 275 35 20 tyres and they did rub a bit.
As far as the ET goes, the difference is about 5mm from et35 to et30 and 30 will sit further out so you don't need to worry about getting the et35's and the et30's may be OK- not sure.
I've also tried 15mm spacers (which I use on my winter rims) and with these fitted (even when only on the rears) they stick out a bit too much- in my opinion.

Thanks Simon!
Yes, definitely get 275 30 20 tyres and you will be fine.
If you want to be as wide as possible the et30 should be OK (I think) as my et35 has a few mm to spare before it sticks out of the arch- these are 4 photos of the 275 30 20's with et35.
