I best warn brotek of the incoming flood of washer orders

Yes Merc HX on order via Brotek. 82mm TB in hand, adaptor plate and harness winging their way to me too.

Then it's porting s/c to suit, install all that with a 206mm crank pulley and 70mm gates idler, then off to MRC for them to work their magic.

Only hitch in my plan is a 3.5" intake that mates to the stock airbox.

Any ideas/tips/advice on how to achieve this most welcome.

Found this but way to much $ for my liking

Sounds like a project! Can't wait to see the results! :)

Not measured it, but the stock airbox is probably around the 3.5" mark? The intake pipe increases in diameter at the airbox end.

So I'm looking for a solution that's 3.5" all the way.

Worst case I will have to use some Alu tube and silicone bends/connectors and butcher them to fit. The result may not be pleasing on the eye

Ah, ok! What about a good exhaust fabricator? Then just put silicone collars at either end? Maybe wrap it in Carbon fibre to look more pleasing to the eye? :)

Should have asked them to give you some commission as I think I'm pretty much sold also on it 😂

I just checked these out too as the standard ones are pretty crap.
Wasn't sure if we need the spacer or not?
Anyone else know if it's needed?

When you go to order from Brotek, it lists the models that these jets fit and it also mentions next to the model whether it needs a spacer, but as said we don't need the spacers. :)

To be fair, I did similar on my Land Cruiser, one of the cheapest easiest and best mods to do

Early lockdown I purchased Carista, worth the money just to deactivate the start stop... Enabled auto dipping wing mirrors on reverse, added oil temperature to the display.

I had stage 1 map and egr blank end of May and now returning 30 miles more per tank.

Paint correction and wax came shortly afterwards.

Last mod will be to relocate my crankshaft pulley to its correct position
