Upgrade wheels from 18” to 20”

Hi All,

Some advise needed, I’m looking at upgrading my wheels on my A5 S Line

I’ve seen some rotor
20” that I like and was wondering if they would fit ok ?without any rubbing on the wheel arch,

the ones I’m looking at are 9x20 ET26 I’m not looking at putting spacers on either as I’ve heard the bearings may get damaged?

any advice would be appreciated 👍🏻

those would be perfect as they should be from a RS5. it will move a bit closer to your wheel arch, but there should be no rubbing

They will fit fine. Completely flush to the arch. Alternatively, I have a set of 20” A5 / S5 alloys (ET29) I will be removing from my car shortly, and putting on eBay.

Car looks great congrats!! Mine had 19s on when I bought her and they were fine, I just had them refinished cos they had some scuffs. Your 20s look lovely.

As said above std Rs5 fitment.
Tyre size should be 265/30/20 but a lot of owners opt for 275/30/20 due to being more readily available and a fair bit cheaper.
These are 9j x20 et26 on mine.

What do you think about tire choice, looking at the 265 or the 275

indeed they do bud, What tyre set up have you got on your 20’s. Was either going for the 265 or the 275/30/20

they look sweet, I think they suit the A5 with them being Concaved. 👍🏻

i would go 275/30R20 as it will give you more options and is a fair bit cheaper than 265/30R20 (at least in Oz!) Pics of mine below:

Lovely set of Le Mans wheels, the Michelin PS4 are my tire choice as well. 👍🏻

Mines got 20" Rotors fitted. The only downside is that the ride is pretty unforgiving with 255/30R20 tyres, and it does tramline a bit. Other than that, go for it!
