Hi folks. Decided to change my pollen filter (and engine air filter). Genuine parts from audisytner ebay shop less than half the price of local main dealer! £28 pollen filter (£48 main dealer) £9 engine (£66 main dealer). Under glove box lid I removed the stiff foam panel (x3 plastic thumb screws) which gives access to pollen filter cover. A thick sponge ring with an intentional split across it and a smooth backing fell out before I started the actual filter cover. I’ll add some pictures. Any ideas where it’s come from?
