I'm having problems trying to connect my iPhone 4 to the Audi Music Interface. I went to the dealer who told me I needed a special cable, which I bought (part number: 4F0 051 510 L), but all i get is an error message: "This device or this cable type is not supported...." Have I got the wrong cable?

The iPhone is running the latest (4.2.1) firmware. The car is an A5 Sportback S-line Quattro.
