Tiptronic gearbox software re-set
My car has been into the dealers this week for an engine management light issue which was related to the secondary water pump.
While it was there I mentioned that I thought that there might be a problem with the tiptronic geerbox as it was holding gears far longer than it should do and also was changing down very early. e.g. when coasting to a stop it would select first while still moving at a speed that would be more suited to second.
They re-set / flashed the software and it has transformed the car! Fuel economy has increased and the drive in D is far more relaxed.
Just wondered if any other tiptronic owners have noticed anything similar?
