After much pondering, I've finally gone ahead and placed the order, so I thought I'd register and say hello, as this site has been a great source of info for the prospective buyer :thumbsup:.

Spec is as per signature. Dealer says he's expecting a build week in mid-April. Can't wait! :autofahrer:

TX - If salesmen read these forums, they'd be more clued up too! I have to admit, I knew more about my S5 when I ordered it and when got it than the SR... even correcting him several times in a wonderfully patronising tone! (most out of character for me!)

Cheers! I kept changing my mind about the spec prior to ordering - mainly around trying to shoehorn in MMI at the expense of other options, but in the end I couldn't justify two grand for a satnav I'd only use half a dozen times a year, so I left it out.

I was also going to go for pale grey leather, but having seen a well-worn and denim marked demonstrator in that colour, I decided to play it safe with black-on-black.

Don't forget leasing companies are often bottom of the order pile. More profitable deals get shoved to the top of the production list!

I ordered the car a week last Friday (the 13th :yikes: ) from Bolton Audi.

Then five days later, the ESP and Emission Control warning lights came on on the dash of my A3 which I'm trading in
