It's not piston rings... had compression and leakdown done. All fine.
All the injectors have been serviced.
Still I can smell fuel while driving and in the oil (upon removing the sump to fix a leak I stored the old oil in my house and it gassed my house out). My next step is the HPFP.
I've read that to test a leak check the fuel rail pressure at 80C in VCDS... turn off wait 2 minuites then check again. It should be higher due to heat soak.
I idled the car until 80C which took about 5 mins. The pressure was 36psi turned the car off and after 3/4 mins it was 42psi
Looking at the YouTube video I watched theirs went from 36psi to 62psi
Could this indicate there is a slow leak somewhere?
