I've been getting fairly regular static shocks from my '11 S5 sportback when touching the chrome door trim after a drive.

I've kinda ignored it, but is it indicative of anything bad?...or do I just need to stop wearing shell suits?!

I get this a lot too and I dread touching the door to close it. But I also wear tracksuit bottoms a lot so maybe that's it.

I seem to get it whatever I wear! It's worse after longer drives so didn't know if it's some kinda build up of resistance or something??
