Hi guys,

Firstly I'd just like to say hi, new here after getting my 2012 A5 SE 3.0tdi quattro yesterday!

I'm just working my way around things on it and I know both front tyres were a marginal MOT pass, they're on the most basic 5-spoke 17" alloys and are 225/50/17's - looking at getting new ones but the sites where I can put my reg in (Black Circles) don't even have a 225 option, just 245/45... So has the previous owner fit narrower tyres/alloys for the 3.0tdi or are they standard fit? Can I fit 245's comfortably on those alloys? (I realise I'd have to change all 4! Was the plan anyway as one is a cheapo and the other same as the fronts).

Here you go, not very exciting but it's an odd spec - SE with 17" wheels on 225's so very much "comfort" spec but has most toys and the 3.0tdi engine with the rarer brown and cream "old man" interior. Very nice condition for 100k miles though...
