I have an Ibis white A5. Nearly 4 months old. Looks lovely when it's clean.....not easy that at this time of year!! Problem is though, I've noticed that on the paintwork around the grille, there's a grey staining developing and no amount of elbow grease will shift it. I'm using Autoglym shampoo. Other than T-cutting  Any advice would be gratefully received.

Cheers RG....tho not much steel of any kind made up here now!!!
Since posting the thread, I did a search using "paintwork" as the keyword.
Some interesting posts by "Spinner". Worth a read, but looks like he spends all his quality time cleaning his motor.
I'm overseas alot sop can't dedicate that much time and effort and my missus wouldn't dream of washing my (or hers) car after she's used it - and use it she bloody well does!

Thanks for the extremely detailled response spinner.

I'll be taking your advice regarding the T-Cut (not to use) and will spend some time over the holidays giving the car some TLC.

Thanks all and Merry Xmas.
