Went round a corner and eventually a booming sound started coming out of the speaker super loud, MMI was still fine and stero was working as normal but the noise won't go. Only way to stop it is to remove the MMI fuse.
Any ideas? I've checked the amp compartment and there is no water or moisture in there - MMI was also replaced around a year ago so wouldn't expect it to fail at this point.
