Since the cat is out of the bag, I figured I may as well start this. Here is the latest and greatest from my bag of tricks that is certainly not for everyone as I've said from day one. Most folks here will immediately see the changes. Stay tuned

The side exhaust outlet looks cool. As for the hood opening, like the look, but would be concerned about what happens at high speed aerodynamically.

hey rr, thanks for your honesty there. In reference to the hood opening, we will be using the same type setup as the ZR1 which used a polycarbonate window and you know the end result on that one
Personally I don't think the supercharger unit looks good enough to put on display. The car is a thing of beauty the supercharger is not.

The side vents look good to me though

I hear ya on the manifold design…it's certainly not for everyone. I like it though. I'm still trying to decide on what side skirts we will use in conjunction with the exhaust. There are a few in mind.
Hey Will, I wouldn't do it to my car however I love and appreciate where your going with the design.

Below's some info on a sprint blue B7 RS4 supercharger client of mine who has similar tastes. he's well known throughout the VAG scene in the UK and Europe. I can hook you with his contact, I'm sure you two would get on great ;)

And this is this years look....

Hey thanks Spinner. I'm pretty excited about it personally. It will be right in line with most of my other builds. I'm a "window and gauges on the hood" "cammed and slammed" kinda guy. Have been for at least 20 years now. Yep, I've seen his stuff around..pretty cool in my book. He is actually the one that inspired me to go with a PES blower :)

I like the concept if for no other reason than it hasn't been done before on an RS5. With that said, are you considering a different color? IMO you should tone down the red and go with something that blends in well with your trim and mirrors or....paint your calipers red maybe? Just throwing that out there, you probably already have a clear vision that suits your individual taste.

I'm glad you like the concept..It's certainly nothing new to Audi nor the auto industry in general. And what's good for the R8 must be good for the rest, in my play book anyway lol. Thanks for your observation on the color scheme as well. I like the contrast of the red against the blue. BUT….basically what I'm looking at doing is having a color change on the car just about every 3-4 months or so if all goes well. Me personally, I like 3-5 colors on this car and you only live once. The red on the manifold will most likely be swapped out as well and accordingly. Calipers will be powdered coated based on what's going on with the car color also

The front on picture reminded me of an Indian lady with a bindi on her forehead... My mind works in peculiar ways!
Side exit exhaust on the ABT RS5.

yep, seen that late last year.. there are a few things I don't like about the exhaust kit though. For starters, it's a single side exhaust, the drivers side only. IMO an exhaust on these cars (V6 and V8 especially) need to have a dual exit exhaust. Secondly the rear diffuser is a bit too radical for my tastes and lastly it just doesn't sound throaty enough..but overall I love the concept. Glad they took to the muscle car approach on this one :)
amazing you have vision, sir. Congrats!

So what is the ETA??? Can't wait!

hey thanks man! I'm still trying to decide which side skirts to run on this one..I would say should be done in the next 90 days. I'm out of the country at the moment but once I get back, should be able to tackle it with no problems :running:
added a recent pic up top as well :)
