I purchased my S5 last fall and have about 12k miles on it now. I own my own company so its a "company car". Because of some of the economic recession that we may or may not have, we decided to drop our high-end company cars. I thought I would throw it out to the forum first before we put it on E-bay or something like that.

Here's what I have and the list price:
S5 4.2 Quattro 354hp 6-spd $50,500
Quartz Grey Metallic $475
Audi Nav $2,390
Technology Package $1,700
Audi Care $590
Audi Ext Care 100K $2,472
Audi Wheel Road Hazzard $585
4 mounted 18" snow tires $1,925
===============================
TOTAL $60,637

This does not include the gas guzzler tax, sales tax and some of that other stuff the dealer adds on. My payoff on the loan (drive too many miles for a lease) is about that much. I realize selling so soon will result in a short term loss. I figured on pricing it at $56,655 which is the price of the car without the maintenance, road hazzard and the winter wheel/tire set. Winter wheels are 18" Rial Nogaro's and Dunlop SP Winter Sport 240/45's.

If you know someone who wanted to get into an S5 this would save them quite a bit. Its an awesome car, but if I have to lay off any staff this year, the car has to go first.

My personal email is [email protected] if you have any interest.

It would probably help if you put your location in your profile to assist any prospective buyer(s).

I'm guessing you are in the USA but that's a huge place.;) Although looking at your username, I'd narrow my guess further to Pennsylvania.

Thanks for the suggestions. Profile is updated with my exact location. I am located in Mechanicsburg, PA which is just outside Harrisburg, about two hours from DC and Philadelphia and about 3.5 hours from Pittsburgh and NYC.

My S5 is stock with Quartz Grey Metallic exterior and black interior so finding a pic on the Audi website should be pretty much the same as mine.

thanks!

I doubt the website photo cars have 12,000 miles on them. If you don't want to take a minute or two take some pics that's up to you, but I know of 2 people interested in an S5 that would consider buying if they could see it....

Also, what inlay??

Sizzle, I will go the extra mile and get pics loaded in the next few days. I assure you they will look no different than any other pic you will see for a bone stock S5. Anyone that interested should not rely on pics over the internet to purchase a car. I would hope they would be interested enough to contact me personally and schedule a time we could get together, go over the car in great detail, drive it, etc.

Sorry Sizzle, you did ask about that...

I have no idea what inlay you are talking about. There was nothing specified on the order from the factor that I can see? Is this a dash inlay, door sill inlay, engine inlay etc. What were the various options? I just need a little education. Thanks!!

Hi Jeff,

Good luck selling the car, there are plently of people that will get tired of waiting for their ordered cars (I know I did). Sizzle is right on the details though. I bought an S5 throught this very forum, but I wouldn't have been as interested wihtout all of the details. I did end up flyig up to see it, but the more details up front the better! Besides the inlay, what wheels do you have on it? Are they the stock A5 18's aftermarket, etc.?

I believe he's referring to what type of decorative inlay you have on the doors and around the center console. In other words, is it stainless steel, brushed aluminum, or wood (and if wood, which color)?

thanks guys!! I will take some pics this afternoon and get those online. Those pics will include the stock wheels, the inlay and the aftermarket winter wheels/tires and some random exterior and interior shots.

OK, pics loaded and links inserted into original post. The console inlay looks to be brushed aluminum.

Thanks!

I noticed from your pics that the car has Alcantara seats. That's a feature that's not common. If I were you, I'd highlight that in your list of specs.

thanks TXcarguy. I think I am going to get a copy of the window sticker and verify that and post that window sticker with the pics. that way I can show all the options or standard features without missing any. I appreciate the help!
