Good Evening .
Quick question , do i need to get an Audi Dealer to Activate my Sat Nav as when i press it on it says " your navigation system has not been activated yet , please contact your audi dealer " . I'm based in Ireland . Many Thanks Folks . Almost Forgot , i have the SD Card placed in the first slot .

Help! I have just purchased a 2013 A5 SE Technik TDI but there is no SD card for the sat nav. I think it's been activated because when I press the nav button it displays 'please insert navigation data medium'. I've read so many things that I don't know if I need a DVD or if SD card would work if it's already activated? It came with a dvd for language selection but nothing else. Can anyone tell me if I buy a replacement dvd does it have to be the same year as the car and an update purchased separately or can it be a more recent version if it is already activated from a previous dvd or can I get the SD card ?? It's so confusing! When I looked in the settings it said that it is version BNav_EU_Po251_2_D1 if that means anything to anyone. As you can gather I'm not very technical minded so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

@Mrs T : That's odd -- the 2013 A5 should have MMI 3G+ (HN+ software). BNav systems are discussed over here: MMI 3G Basic navigation 5.31.2 and firmware updates -...
Your system still has the production/factory software (P0251); the lastest appears to be BNav_EU_K0260_1_D1. --g

This is a typical MiB system notice. Your car is MY2016 or newer. Dealer can activate it or maybe someones from here, I dunno.
