Hi guys


Ive been experiencing that feeling of some sort of grating or not the usual smoothness when gear changing,sandy seems the best way of describing this.i phoned my local dealer , epsom audi , apparently its a known issue now with S5 .I was told its a spring issue and that someone would call me to arrange to have the car booked in ....that was Friday morning , no call as yet
I'll update you when i hear more...

May be easier to add to that.
Can you describe the problem in a bit more detail - i.e. when you feel it etc.

Its now an inevitably depressing creak not loud just you can feel it through your foot.When pressing down at the bottom and again when releasing , now I know it's coming so it seems worse.

As we know getting used to the position and best practice of this clutch is quite an initial challenge , so this is a real pain and my driving experience with this fantastic car has really been spoilt.

When I go in Im taking the previous thread re these issues , with me .Im hoping the problem is sorted quickly and I get the kind of service you'd expect considering the cost of this car.Audi service levels seem sporadic at best .Id like to report a pleasant experience!
