I noticed a lot of members saying there is very little you can do to tune the 4.2 V8 but I was curious what adds the 100bhp on the RS5 or even the R8?

I believe the engine is different, albeit the same displacement. The RS5 4.2 V8 is higher revving, so probably has a shorter piston stroke with larger diameter amongst other things?
