Bit of a strange one and want to double check something.
So, the scenario is...
2008 S5 originally fitted with the halogen lights, purchased a set of pre facelift LED's. Bought a cable conversion kit which came with the codings for module 46.
Security login is 41067 if relevant?
All fitted fine and wiring done as instructed.
Codings all accepted and all lights work correctly.

However when i turn the car off, and come back to it later turning the rear fog light switch on illuminates the reverse lights.
Go back in to VCDS to double check the codings and all correct and lights work correctly.
Turn it all off and back to the fog/reverse light issue.

Is there anyone who has a halogen coupe, who has done the pre facelift conversion where they don't have any light issues at all with VCDS.
Could you tell me your codings on module 46 for the following channels please?

or if you've had the conversion done and everything works but you don't have VDCS but are local to Norwich and want a free scan or features turned on then i'm sure there's a mutually agreeable solution...?

I'd say PROBABLY but don't know what BCM2 module you have - if it's new enough then yes - but will still require coding by someone (even though access and codes are provided above)...

thanks for that, i have read all of that previously... currently i suspect the supplied loom is pinned incorrectly....
when the weather improves i'll pull it apart to verify it's all pinned out correctly...
but i'd still like to double check with someone else who's this is working on codings..

to close this out in case it may help someone else. If you are buying an aftermarket loom adapter ask the seller if the looms are handed.
Mine were and the seller never notified, i was chasing my tail looking for a coding issue and it was the looms were on the incorrect sides.
Swapped left to right and vice versa and all works as intended now...
