S5 Mirrors, yes or no?

1619 Views 9 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  RGBArgee
After installing the MTM exhaust it appears to be lots of chrome on my car. Exhaust is chrome, the grill is chrome. I am thinking about getting chrome mirrors as well, because right now it kinda doesn't match the car, IMHO.

It won't hurt S5 owners since right now I have huge MTM sign in the back as well as totally different exhaust than S5.

What do you think? If you really try hard enough and forget about posing and crap like that, do you think it would look nice?

Thanks

Your 'posing and crap' statement sounds about right and is hard to forget. Sorry!

Posing is what posers do. I am trying to modify my car to look it the way I want.
Thanks for your post anyways. ;)
Mirrors look really nice.....
I think it looks great. Who cares if someone thinks that you are a poser or whatever? I certainly don't.
If you put "S5" on the back of the car, that would make you a poser.
If you want to change your mirrors, do it. Don't let the opinion of anyone else alter what you want to do to your car. It's your car, it's up to you.
Of course I know that, Rab88.
But opinion of you guys matters to me, because we all are one big community of owners. :)

Agree it is good that we are all free to express our thoughts, your proposal just doesn't do anything for me. Sorry mate.

No need to say sorry, what's wrong anyways? I am fine with your opinion.....I respect it.
I have just realized that you have your car for only a few days.......
I have my car for almost a year and on the first few weeks I wasn't even thinking about getting anything else for the car...it seemed perfect. Well, after one year I realized that there is plenty of stuff that can be changed for something better - like exhaust, ECU, grill, mirrors and so on.

I am sure that after one year your car will not look that astonishing, new and fresh to you anymore and perhaps you would start thinking of modifying it.
Mods No Way

:D:D

I don't mod my Audis with anything that detracts from how they looked (or could have looked) when they came out of the factory. (engine upgrade sounds good though?)

Cheers RG

PS I am thinking of some darker floor mats and I might even consider some mudflaps!!
