S5 B9 USB ports randomly stop working

As in the title, anyone experienced the same issue? start the car running fine with my phone connected, do a run to the shops so park up and when I the start the car again, the USB's front and rear won't work (again, doesn't happen all the time) leabe the car for an hour or so and they start working again, just a nuisance thing especially if I'm heading out with low phone battery.

Dan, how's your research so far? There's a neat S5 project we'll take in this weekend and it also has similar issue. The phone will randomly disconnects, as well as USB. Will work fine again after restart. Got to install the suspension from 4Wheelonline onto the Jeep tomorrow so we can clear a spot in the garage.

Afternoon Josh, Sorry been on vacation and only just seeing this.
Not that I'll be of any help to you, still very much the same as it was, however touch wood, it's not actually happened since I posted on here. Seems to just get confused with if the car is turned on whilst the phone is connected, I've tried replicating the fault but nothing I do makes it appear so just one of those spurious ones I'm going to have to live with I think, unless you find anything this weekend that is 😜.
