Hi all, newby here.....need to know your thoughts on the lovely 08 MY Ruby Black S5 in York Gilders priced at 48K!!!! Its got 4000 miles on the clock and was registered in April.

Too expensive, think again etc etc..thoughts please?

I guess you must have to see it up close to tell the difference from phantom and solid black. As mad says with 4,000 on the clock i'd say it was a little pricey. Do you know the full spec?

Wow i love that colour!

Having a look at the used car section of the Audi UK site, im shocked to see how well they are keeping there value, it doesnt look like they have dropped in value at all. It might be a good find as long as its not a ex demo car. But then there are ones on Audi side for under 40k.

I do really like that colour though, at least it will be unique! i dout there will be many other Ruby Black S5's ever made.

Nice find if you can knock a K or 2 off it i would be driving it away there and then.

Looking at it again i really do love that colour, never seen it before, i bet its even better in the flesh. Stick to your guns and you should be able to get something off it. Good luck

Hi mate, ruby black is actually a BMW select colour but apparently if you so wish their individual colours such as this one are spec able on Audi's.....

This looks very much like the demo I test drove at York Audi before placing my order back in early February. I even remember the sales manager (Alastair) telling me it was a special BMW colour. I recall the price was ~£49k then too (it had 800 miles on it back then). Did York Audi confirm it was registered in April as it seems a strange coincidence that they have had 2 in that colour? Does kind of indicate the high residuals at the moment though.

Thanks for the info, AFAIK there is only one of these ruby black S5's in existance so that means it must have been registered back in 1st Q 2008.....
