Might be a bit premature, given that the RS is still effectively a 'concept'. As has been discussed elsewhere, Audi's stated intent is only to offer one RS 'halo' model in the range at any one time and with the much -vaunted RS6 hitting the streets now, and the new A4 appearing (which may spawn an RS version to carry the mantle of the outgoing model?), you have to ask yourself if an RS5 will appear in the remainder of the A5 platform's lifetime, post-RS6?

Or maybe they'll relent on their intention, and treat us all to an RS5 in 2009.

We just don't know.......

I heard that that they were going to start producing more than one RS model at at time though.

Also, an official production schedule was leaked a while ago onto the internet. There was a picture of the transcript but I can't find it right. Basically, the RS5 is due in February 2009.
