Had this installed by my indie and it took just under an hour. Initial impressions:

1. Wow that 28MM bar is beefy (and lighter than stock as it is tubular)!
2. Car absolutely feels more neutral / understeer has clearly been reduced
3. Absolutely improved levels of adhesion - there are a few corners that I had taken previously where the car would plow but now the car just simply stays planted; even at higher entry speeds
4. I no longer need to back off the throttle in order to tuck the nose in - the car simply goes where pointed
5. The car feels lighter on its feet now that it doesn't understeer so bad
6. The combination of Quattro and the bigger rear bar now allows me to power through corners / power out of corners that I previously would have been concerned about the car running wide (similar to nos. 3 and 4 above).

Overall: AWESOME upgrade and easily the best thing I've done to my S5 since the custom tune!!

Definitely worth the $279!

Is this an easy install that can be done by yourself?

IMHO, yes (as long as you have jackstands & the appropriate tools). I looked at the directions prior to the install and they did not seem complicated.

According to [email protected], they are producing a matching front/rear set; I wonder how different the results will be.

Can you explain what kind of understeer you feel without and with it.

Maybe it's cause I have coilovers but I don't really feel any understeer per say.

Great report. I'm having mine done on 12/22 when I take it in for the 5K service interval. I'll also be getting their SS exhaust system too. This is the "single-tipped" version for those of us that did NOT get the S-Line package. I like the sleeper mode for the exhaust. ;)
