Hi all
I have an Audi A5 3.0 tdi Quattro with 88000 miles a full service history!
About 4 months ago I had a load of work done which included new discs and pads so round a full service and gear box oil change
Whilst it was there they said the drivers side driveshaft a bit of play in it coming from the gearbox end which they reckon was common
Any way I think the flywheel is on its way out as its rattling quite a bit now in neutral and park and clonks when u turn the engine off
Ive been quoted 瞿2500 for all the work to be done but what Im asking is. Is it worth it
Im doing 600 miles a week
Or should I save a bit and just get the flywheel and clutch sorted?
Thanks for any help

I just had the input shaft bearing in the gearbox done and had the clutch and flywheel done (not needed now but maybe a 8 months or so) 2000 all in. The big cost is labour. so if you include the driveshaft maybe ok
