Perhaps you could get hold of the Black Edition Plus boot lip spoiler that Audi fit as standard to those models. Mine came with one and although quite subtle I like it a lot.

Have added a pic to my post above. I can't be certain it would fit a B8, but would expect so if it is an Sline. It wouldn't fit an S5 as they have a more pronounced lip to start with.

Good plan mate. Yeah, it adds a little style without, as you say, being in your face. They must be available as spares for accident repairs on BE+ models, so it's just a case of determining if it fits... and if it's a sensible price of course!
