Pretty certain that the rear fog light button/lamp is a European thing only

 

Too bad, I would have liked the rears to have fog lights so I know dumb a$$ people that can't drive in the rain have a bit more warning before they hit me. I like the interior switch too at http://oemplus.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=60_68_139&products_id=514

As the name implies, fog lights are for just that purpose - over here, it's the bane of our lives driving in the red glare of a car's fog lights in the rain, just because it makes the driver ahead feel a little bit safer.

It's also an offence to use them in non-fog conditions, not that that seems to have much effect on the offenders!

 

Ah, I didn't think whether it was a burden to the rear car driver...thanks for educating me. Then, I think, I am glad I don't have it!

As for driving with fog lights on all the time, no way I'd let the FLs interfere with the look of the swept DRLs.

 

LOL, you're alright mate, and thanks for taking it as intended. We have to resort to a dose of high beam - and that really masks the DRL-effect!
